Intergenerational Connection and Learning

We are an educational, friendly club of all ages and experience who enjoy a shared interest in earth science, gems, minerals, fossils, lapidary work, making jewelry, and more.

Our club is located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas where our members attend monthly meetings with speakers on various topics of interest regarding gems, minerals, earth science, fossils, lapidary work, jewelry creation and more. Members also have use of a wonderful fully-equipped workshop and have the opportunity to participate in field trips.

Monthly Meetings in Our Own Clubhouse!

We meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in our clubhouse at 15048 Highway 43, Corner of Highway 43 and Lawlis Road, Siloam Springs, AR

As we prepare for the 2026 Spring Show there are a few things we would like for our members to consider donating to the show.

  • GRAB BAG ROCKS - Each year we sell about 200 grab bags at $2.00 a piece at our Spring Show. Each bag is filled with 5-10 rocks of various sizes and descriptions. The rocks can be fossils, tumbled stone, crystals: rocks kids would be excited to find but nothing expensive. If you have anything you would like to donate that we could use in the grab bags, please bring them to the club during one of our meetings or email us and we will arrange to pick them up.
  • SILENT AUCTION or DOOR PRIZES - during the show there are 14 door prize drawings. We also conduct 29 silent auctions with multiple items per auction. This requires a lot of nicer items to be given away or bid on. We use rocks, minerals, fossils, slabs, cabochons, beads, finished jewelry pieces, rock or lapidary related books – almost anything rock or lapidary related. Any item should be labeled as to what it is and, if possible, given a suggested starting bid price. These items can also be brought to one of the general meetings oremail us and we will arrange to pick up the items.

The Spring Show brings in approximately 70% of our total budgeted spend during the year, so having a successful show is critical. Please consider donating. Your club will benefit and you will too. Thank you for your donations.

We now have a list of businesses owned by NWAGMS club members.  Be sure to check it out under "MEMBER BUSINESSES" in the footer.

Join us every second Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:00 at the Clubhouse for our Do-Over Class.  All members are invited and no experience is necessary.   You can learn to make earrings, bracelets, and necklaces using our tools, beads and supplies.  We sell what we make at the Fall Swap and use our proceeds for more items we don’t have or items needed for classes at the Clubhouse.  Join us for fun, fellowship and learning.

Future dates are:

  • January 13
